Luxury Holidays in Lanzarote, Spain

Lanzarote is situated just 70 miles off the coast of Africa and is the most easterly of the Canary Islands. The island is 37 miles (60km) long and 12 miles (20 km) wide, making it the fourth largest island in the Canaries. Lanzarote enjoys a mild dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21°C in January to 29°C in August. Annual rainfall is just 140mm (5.5 inches). This makes Lanzarote the perfect year-round destination. As with the other Canary Islands, Lanzarote is Volcanic in origin. Despite this, Lanzarote has several beautiful white beaches such as at Playa Blanca and Papagayo. Aswell as offering top quality sun, sea and sand tourism amenities, Lanzarote has other attractions of interest too, such as the Art, Culture and Tourist Centres run under the auspices of the Insular Council. The world famous artist César Manrique’s sensitive response to Lanzarote´s unique geography and people was instrumental in creating a pervasive artistic identity throughout the island.

Luxury Holidays in Tenerife, Spain

Tenerife, ‘the island of eternal spring’, is the largest of the seven Canary Islands and a hugely popular year-round destination. With a wonderful annual climate averaging out at 20 degrees, considered by many to be the best in the world, and a wide range of well-equipped resorts, Tenerife offers an extremely diverse range of landscapes – the north is full of verdant subtropical vegetation, forests and banana plantations with a dramatic rugged coastline, whilst the south is more arid and desert-like, filled with a lunar landscape and a mix of black and white beaches. In central Tenerife, the island boasts the highest point in all of Spain – the majestic Mount Teide volcano, visible from all over the island.
